Please see some pictures of a recently completed 1,600 head sow facility. This facility featured the Gestal feeding station in the gestation barn and farrowing rooms.
This is the entrance of the feeding station. The sow walks in and her head hits the front of the gate and it closes the back. When she is done eating, she will back out and the gate will open.
This is the brain of the feeder. This is unique about the Gestal feeder. The brain is right there and easy to read and change any features if needed.
The screen of the feeder is also unique because it tells you lots of information about the sows that have eaten in that station.
